Carrying around my phone but not being able to access my 2,000 or so contacts and sync my calendar is, to say the least,Īn inconvenience. I want to resolve this issue because I would like to sync my Outlook Contacts with my HTC. I have seen numerous postings in other forums (namely Sprint and HTC) where this is identified as an issue, but neither HTC nor Microsoft seem to be able to find theįix. They finally referred me to Microsoft, saying it is an issue on their end.
I've spent hours on the phone with HTC uninstalling and reinstalling their software and working through a number of possible fixes for this issue.

While I am able to install their software and to sync music and photo's, I am not able to sync with Outlook.

Please reply back with the status so that we could help you further. I would also suggest you to download the copy from the manufacturer website if you meet all the requirements and ready to go. I would suggest you to refer and compare the minimum requirements for the application to work smoothly. On my phone it says connecting to sync manager in PC it can see an addtional drive says HTC Sync Manager.exe but the program won't detect the phone.
I have checked the compatibility of the application software with Windows 7 and it says compatible. The damn HTC Sync Manager will not detect my phone. What is the make and model of the computer? Are you getting this error message while installing the application?ģ. From where exactly have you downloaded the copy of HTC Sync Manager?Ģ. HTC Sync Manager is not compatible with Windows 7.ġ. As I understand, you are getting an error message I will surely help you to find a resolution regarding the issue.
